我曾经为看过这样一篇漫画而禁不住心酸：幼儿园里，阿姨问小朋友们：“妈妈最爱吃什么菜?”一个小朋友答：“妈妈最爱吃剩菜!”也曾在报纸上看过“妈妈爱吃鱼头”的故事：因为疼爱孩子，家里每次吃鱼，母亲都只吃鱼头，孩子便以为母亲只喜欢吃鱼头，不爱吃鱼肉，每次都乖巧的先把鱼头分给母亲，甚至觉得自己是在做一件最爱母亲的事，直到孩子长大了，也为人母时，才真正懂得了母亲的爱!

首先，我想先向大家讲述这样两个有关母亲的故事。
第一个故事发生在一位游子与他的母亲之间。游子探亲期满离开故乡，母亲送他去车站，儿子旅行包的带子突然被挤断。眼看就要到发车时间，母亲急忙从身上解下裤腰带，把儿子的旅行包扎好。解腰带时，由于心急又用力，她把脸都涨红了。儿子问母亲，您怎么回家呢?母亲微笑着说，不要紧，慢慢走。
多少年来，儿子一直把母亲这根腰带珍藏在身边。多少年来，儿子一直都在想，他母亲没有腰带是怎样走回几里地外的家中的。
第二个故事发生在一个犯人同他的母亲之间。探监的日子，一位来自贫困山区的老母亲，经过乘坐驴车、汽车和火车的辗转，探望服刑的儿子。在探监人五光十色的物品中，老母亲给儿子掏出用白布包着的葵花籽。葵花籽已经炒熟，老母亲全磕好了。没有皮，白花花的像密密麻麻的小雀舌。
服刑的儿子接过这堆葵花籽，手开始颤抖。母亲亦无言语，撩起衣襟拭泪。她千里迢迢探望儿子，卖掉了家里的鸡蛋和猪崽儿，还要节省许多开支才凑足路费。来前，在白天的忙碌后，晚上在煤油灯下嗑瓜子。磕好的瓜子肉放在一起，看他们像小山一点点增多，没有一粒舍得自己吃。十多斤瓜子磕亮了许多夜晚。
服刑的儿子垂着头。作为身强力壮的小伙子，正是奉养母亲的时候，他却不能。在所有探监人当中，他母亲衣着是最褴褛的。母亲一口一口磕的瓜子，包含千言万语。儿子“扑通”给母亲跪下，他忏悔了。
这是两个多么令人刻骨铭心的心理历程啊!这母爱深入骨髓，融入血脉，牵动着每一根神经，令风云为之变色，草木为之含悲!真挚深切的母爱散播在空气中，令人悴然心动。沧海桑田，斗转星移。时间、空间改变了许多，而唯一不变的，是那一刻永恒的爱心，这颗爱心中所蕴含的柔情似一根红丝带，飞过高山峻岭，飘过江河湖海，牵系着颗颗炽热的心，撒播着深切永恒的情。母爱的深，母爱的醇，母爱的浓，母爱的久，令其他任何一种情感都逊色三分。
也许，在座的一些朋友们会像我一样，有一位很普通的母亲。她没有骄人的面孔，没有华丽的外衣，没有出色的工作和事业。她也许只是一个小职员在一个平凡的岗位上做着她应做的工作，拿着她应得的薪水;也许她一闲下来，就整日里唠唠叨叨让你好不心烦;也许你会觉得，她只在乎你的成绩而不在乎你学习以外的品行;也许你会觉得，她的卑微会让你在同学面前抬不起头来……
后面有许许多多的“也许”可以倾诉，但是也有许许多多的“假如”在等待你的倾听。假如，她在十月怀胎时，并没有选择你，你还会在蓝天下抒发你对世界的热爱吗?你还会在教室里诵读你喜爱的文章吗?你还会在游戏中体会生命的真谛吗?或者，你还会在某个夜晚或白天与她因一点小事而争论不休吗?!
我记得有一次在我与母亲争吵过后，我对父亲说起母亲的种.种错误以及对我的不理解。父亲这时很严肃地说了一句话，至今让我记忆犹新——即使你的母亲有千错万错，她终归是你的母亲。这句话终于让我觉醒!是啊，她让我有了生存的权利，让我们享受了来到这世界上的幸福和美好，我们应该满足了，应该对她感恩戴德并终身报答。何况，她并没有将幼小的我弃置一旁，并且还教我说话，穿衣，让我接受教育，让我获得欢乐。相比之下，那小小的唠叨又算得了什么呢?那善意的批评又算得了什么呢?
